Okay, seriously, LIQUID DOESN'T DIE. My God. How many times do you have to "kill" him in MGS, really? >.<
Anyway, this pic is adapted from/based on a scene from my massive MGS fanfic parody (MGS: MY Way)...I had to change it QUITE a bit, and this doesn't really do the original versian justice, but then again, the gag is mostly text-based. SO HERE'S THE EXCERPT!
(two disclaimers: A Mysterious Figure is an actual character in my fic and I don't wanna explain that, and this contains a reference to Mission: Impossible 2):
Ocelot: Well! I’ll just have to TOR—ahem, sorry, INTERROGATE you until I get the answers I want! *starts to turn on the machine* ......AGH, to hell with this torture scene, it gets monotonous, and THIS is so much faster! *shoots Snake in the head*
A Mysterious Figure: I wouldn’t do that if I were you.
Ocelot: *suddenly notices that Snake has long, blond hair* NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Snake: *tears away in slow motion, ripping off his mask and donning sunglasses as the Mission: Impossible theme plays over the PA system*
Ocelot: DAMNITDAMNITDAMNIT! ALL IS LOOOST!
Liquid: No, it’s not, git, I’m still alive!
Ocelot: Liquid?! What the--?!
Liquid: Since I’m genetically programmed to die from FoxDie, I’m not allowed to die YET!
Ocelot: Oh? Then you mean I can do this? *shoots Liquid in the head*
...and the fact that he shot Liquid in the head is never addressed again throughout the rest of the story.
