So, then. Round One. Only I'm going with this pretentious music theme due to Masque's appreciation for high culture, so it's 'Act One'. Derp. :P Also, no cover. :shrug:

Uh...so, Ian and Shep! I apologize in advance if I've MUTILATED THEM BEYOND RECOGNITION (and for the fact that Ian...sorta...fades into the woodwork by the end ^^;). For whatever reason, I really like drawing Shep...Ian was more difficult to work with...and Masque is just a freaking asshole in this round. It doesn't really make you wanna root for him! XDDD (but...gotta love the bastard...at least this round is angst-free!)

Speaking of 'bastard', beware the GRATUITOUS swearing in this round. Oh, Shep...you bring out the Fury in me. :giggle: (TCD fans, that was for you)

I'm actually still working on the ending for this round. :O_o: The whole thing has been oddly, incredibly hard to plot out...and that's part of why I've been (I can't lie) procrastinating this long (I've also been busy with my job, I promise). Curious: would people be annoyed if there was this great, big dramatic build-up that ultimately goes nowhere and instead ends on a funny note? ...because that's all I'm likely gonna have time for. *pokes Job and Real Life*

edit: felt like I should add/mention that there are only 3 "pages" in this round (and the 3rd is a cop-out)...so don't get too excited for something ridiculously epic o_O

Also, I like the differences in the way they speak, and the fact that Shep gets annoyed by it.
