Well, folks, after about ::access memory banks...compute...:: seven or so months of being obsessed with Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, I'm FINALLY getting around to the idea that I HAD about seven or so months ago: a Cobra Unit comic.

Not really sure about the details yet, other than...er...what they look like? I'm lying, I've already come up with a basic plot to start out the whole thing, plus the first couple of strips. Obviously, it's going to take place during World War II...specifically, very late 1942 (as in, December or something).

Just to clarify, they often all wear olive drab, which is why all of them except The Pain (who is generally an exception because of his stupid bees) have the same pants on ( my, that sounds sick!). Their undershirts are different colors because...well, damn, coloring them the same would get friggin' boring REAL fast.

You know what's fun? THE LIBERTY! You look at Gigaville, which is brilliant in its own respect, with Chris tying together so many things and yet parodying the hell out of everyone...but he still has a lot of rules to follow. On the other hand, the members of the Cobra Unit were not so exhausted as FOXHOUND was in the context of the game (no life stories told in their dying breath(s)), so I'm left with a lot of options...what The Fury LOOKS like, for example. Personalities, interaction...! Woo. This'll be fun. X)

No idea what sort of timeframe I'm looking at for updating the comic (every other day? weekly? whenever I @#%)&ing get to it?)...anyway, I'm sure the first one'll be up within this week.
