When Work and Fandom Collide

Oh boy, lol.

So I was in my boss's office for something or other and I spotted a bunch of old Etch-a-Sketches on the chair, specially molded for different franchises and such, which he'd fished out of storage for reference. And then I totally Whogasm'd and snatched up the one shaped like a Cyberman. 8O My poor boss had no idea I was into Doctor Who (and now my utter geekiness is cemented in his mind xD), but yeah, he let me have it, since we have a few leftovers lying around the building. Turns out Flair (UK distributor that we work with) has had this out for a few years...not even sure if it's available these days...maybe?

Just because I work at Ohio Art does NOT mean I am at all skilled with an Etch-a-Sketch. Regardless, I did my best to draw the TARDIS, thus completing my geek-out (haha, box set in the background was not intentional!).

Right. Just had to share this little anecdote. xD
